Art File Specs
9 Quick Steps to Ensure Success
Size
All graphics are set at 100 Dpi at actual size as specified on production grids.
Images
Images and photos have been viewed at 100% zoom to check for grain, smear-ing, pixelation, compression artifacts and overall quality. All files should be in RGB Color mode and linked, NOT embedded, in Illustrator.
Color Targets
All critical colors are specified in Pantone Solid Coated Library (RBG Color Mode). All pure Black colors are mixed at: R=0, B=0, G=0.
True Pantone “Solid” Colors will be reproduced as closely as possible, but printed colors may more closely resemble their “CMYK” equivalent colors.
Critical Areas
Make sure all Critical areas for layouts have been reviewed and are compliant. Critical areas are shown in gray on production grids.
Fonts
All text must be outlined and rasterized.
In order for Skyline to be able to revise included text, please supply the Font name.
Software
Files sent to Skyline must be sent as native Photoshop (.psd), Illustrator (.ai), or earlier versions. Indesign files are not accepted, however you can save out a PDF
from Indesign and supply that.
Spelling
All spelling, grammar, and punctuation should be checked.
Skyline will NOT be responsible for any spelling or grammatical errors.
Layouts
Alignments have be checked and all graphics have been reviewed and approved.
Existing Art
Let Skyline know if colors for your new graphics are critical when compared with existing graphics you have.
If they are, we must be given the existing graphics for use as a color sample target. Skyline cannot guarantee alignment of new graphics with previous existing graphics.
Uploading Art
Using the link provided, fill out your contact information, and upload your files. Make sure to compress the files together (.zip).
Once the files are uploaded and sent, a notification will be sent to Skyline to find your files. You will be contacted if any issues arise with the files.
